Alan Waxler—President/CEO
Alan began his event-planning career while attending Ohio State
University where he was
president of concert promotions and was responsible for producing and promoting
all concert events.
Alan received a B.S. degree from Ohio State University and has gained recognition as a Destination management Professional (DMCP) from the Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME).
Following college, Alan had a 14-year tenure in the ladies
garment industry as VP of regional sales for a major manufacturer. His duties included developing and
maintaining major client relationships and managing a regional sales team for
the Midwest.
He also organized national sales meetings, in-store seminars and fashion
shows. Apart from company activities, he
conceived and developed an industry-wide golf tournament to benefit the
homeless.
In 1990, Alan entered the destination management business in
Las Vegas. Utilizing knowledge of the hotel and casino
industry gained from a 25-year family involvement and from his organizational
skills and sales experience, Alan developed many influential associations, a
valuable hands-on approach and a talent to fulfill his commitments. This philosophy gives his clients reason to
rely on his abilities and to utilize his services
Alan credits his success to the motivating force of his
parents. He credits his mother, Shirlee,
for intelligent direction and his father, Richard, a veteran casino executive,
for his role-model savoir-faire. “The inspiration I received from them made me
the man I am today”.
